Tho’ awful wails of ghost and sprite
And fearful sights infest the night
Don’t be afraid o’ the witches’ power.

I lay with half-shut eyes that would not wake,
Lovingly clinging to the nasty sunny beam
For that sweet vision's sake

The Innoccence of Sleep

nightmares are ephemeral
congeal into one, nothing transferred

magenta

Magenta has apparently constructed a colour to bridge the gap between red and violet, because such a colour does not exist in the light spectrum. Magenta is the evidence that the brain takes option. It has no wavelength attributed to it, unlike all the other spectrum colours.
We need colour to make sense of the world, but equally we need to make sense of colour, even if that means taking opposite ends of the spectrum and bringing them together. We could even make our own colour! get your palette, mix your paste, and paint your magic door, travel anywhere!

ps: if there's no way, just paint the 'no' white
