this year i got a chance to celebrate christmas eve in 3 places in a row, first thing first is at home with mum and pop, mum made me a special dinner, a scrumdidilyumptious pony-shaped pudding mmm. The Little Prince pop up book is what i got for christmas, how lovely :D
right after dinner and annual photoshoot at home i straightly went to galeri to pick up ari and masgun then we drove to Tante Dolo & Oom Arjuna's house to celebrate christmas eve.
Quite amusing because i never been there before on a such event like that. moreover its getting absurd as Budi (the young sculptor that i could say as Tante Dolo's favourite) invites us to climb up to his antique room. He showed some of his drawings and plays some songs from his bands (Dendang Kampungan and I-Forgot-The-Punk-Band-Name) quite entertaining. He gave me and ari his selfmade pin for christmas, thankee Mas Bud.

Metafora bahwa dalam kecantikan
itu adalah pengorbanan, ada luka,
ada kepedihan. Dalam setiap
keringkihan perempuan tetap kuat,
kekuatannya sebagai ibu dunia.
Dalam setiap karyanya ada suatu
pesan yang ingin disampaikan
mewakili diri sendiri sebagai
perempuan. Tiap medium, bentuk,
dan tekstur merupakan aspirasi
dari lubuk hatinya.
There is always a macho potential
in human being, If girls are allowed
to cry and boys are forbid, its a
cultural problem!
I know what I want and to I can fly to
catch my dream..

The attempt to write upon Dolorosa Sinaga is like going into a spacious and a splendid dome of dream throughout the conveyance of a narrow and absurd entry. She is my favourite sculptor, A Woman Sculptor, my inspiration.
Sculpting is not her goal. Because the sculpture should involve hard work, many technical problems that must be mastered and the main thing is that these sculptures offer dimensional problems inhuman relations.
