Ladurée The Parisian Cake Shoppe

A whimsical cake and pastry shoppe located on the very heart of Paris, the Champs-Élysées. Well known for its speciality on Macaron (probably it is the finest of the world). Macaron is a traditional French pastry made of egg whites, almond powder, icing sugar, and sugar. This whimsical sweets shaped round as circle, meringue-like with flat base.

Ladurée was found by Louis-Ernest Ladurée in Paris 1862 but on 1871 the bakery was burnt down then they rebuilt on the same place and Jules Chéret (the Parisian litographer) was directed the interior decoration

Me and Mum had our Parisian lunch here and I was delighted with the meal especially the blue macaron. And it is just beauty as my friend Anindita told me, indeed it is beautiful.

Dipuncaknya mungkin kujumpai seekor unicorn
Dengan tanduk emasnya yang bersinar.
Aku mungkin tersesat, tapi siapa peduli...

Paris 2009

CIRCUSURREAL

Well, this is the most awaited event since last months. Me and my friends went to Jakarta Art Theatre (known as Gedung Kesenian Jakarta) to watch Cirque Contemporain 'A WONDERFUL WORLD' of the le Printemps Francais 2009 on 19th June.

Within their dreams and imaginations, Sir Philippe Martz and Sir Bernie Collins took the guest on the absurd journey of childhood dream by their whimsical performance. The two French artist developed relation of human perspective of clown and its image. They are simply 'simple' but magnificent!

and I shall thank to Uncle Ricky for letting me in for free! :D
